I originally wrote this article back in 2019 prior to lockdown. I, unfortunately, haven’t made it to any in-person events. I still hope that this article will be helpful.
Don’t be afraid to go alone!
I go to most events alone.
I know I will always meet people, whether it’s in the line or inside the actual event.
I can say Iām a true introvert at heart so if I can do it you can too!
Don’t ever feel awkward going to an event alone, more likely than not more people go alone than in groups.
Be sure to get there a little early since there is almost always a line.
Don’t Be Intimidated By What You See On Instagram
Instagram photos show girls in matching outfits with their hair and makeup done.
Please do not feel intimidated!
I usually wear black leggings and a cute top. Wear something comfortable that you will feel comfortable moving around in and having your picture taken. Cameras are usually always recording and taking pictures.
Eat a Snack Before You Go
Im not saying go to iHop and get unlimited pancakes here but I am saying eat enough to were you are satisfied so that way you don’t pass out during the workout.
I usually go for a piece of fruit or some type of bar so I’m not stuffed.
Usually some type of food or snacks are served afterward so you’ll never have to worry about post workout hangry vibes.

I am as anti-social as it gets, and, sometimes I hate leaving the house, but fitness events always bring the extravert out of me.
I always meet amazing people who are open to new friendships.
