A little late I know I had to slow myself down to truly tune in to what I would accomplish this year has taken forever but here we are.
We are more than halfway through the year and I’ve already made a promise to myself to think about how I would like to approach this year. I feel different energy this year, more in tune with myself and what works for me.
Slowing myself down to truly tune in to what I would accomplish this year has taken forever but here we are. I will still say new year new me! Let’s get into it!
Putting Myself First
Always easier said than done. We always make commitments and then when it's time to execute something always happens that tests whether or not we are truly committed. These are the times we have to dig in and reparent ourselves out of the teenage rebellion stage 😂. What I mean by this is don't give in to temptation and regress back into old ways. Take it one day and one moment at a time.
Catching Myself Before Burnout
I was able to go to therapy at the start of 2021 and it was fabulous. My therapist taught me to do constant check-ins with myself throughout the day to see if I’m taking care of myself. With that, I am able to check my negative emotions or low energy. Usually need to eat or drink water, once I figure this out I am back at 100%. Not tracking this has made me lose so much of my day trying to replenish what I lost.

Listen more and talk less
Slowing down and thinking about things before reacting
Working out and eating clean
